Martin Žampach is a product and industrial designer. He studied glass art at the Secondary Art School in Luhačovice. He graduated in industrial design at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland. His design of the KON cooking glass collection won the Good Design Award of the Chicago Museum of Architecture and Design. Lately his work has been also dedicated to 3D printing technology, for example, it is used in the production of his own WAVE, SPIRAL and ZIGZAG vase collections. He co-founded the PROTOTYPUM studio, a technological startup focused on innovation and new technologies. The studio creates projects that help companies with the design and development of new products, from the first sketch to the production of functional prototypes and subsequent production.
