Hans van Koolwijk is a Dutch sound artist and builder of experimental musical instruments. For thirty years he has been working in the space between visual art and music, creating and constantly adding to an extensive palette of his own sound machines, some very simple and others very complex.
Two of his works were featured at the Festival vs. Interpretation II held in Prague from 27 April to 1 May 2016. His talk at Bishop's Court on 28 April highlighted some of his work and the principles behind it.
